Located on the western side of the Halifax Harbour and on the western edge of the Halifax Commons, Quinpool Road is in the central area of Halifax and the HRM. Quinpool Road is just a short walk from Citadel Hill and the Museum of Natural History. The immediate area is an older established neighborhood which is currently undergoing significant redevelopment with the construction of a few apartment buildings along the street.
